Review: Burning Ivy

Burning Ivy Burning Ivy by Brandy Hynes
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

What?! The beginning of this book starts by saying it is best to go in blind, so that is what I did. OMG I was not expecting to enjoy this so much!

Ivy and Wells were such amazing characters. Really, they all were. The found family was very much in this book. All of the "minor" characters had such a big impact on Ivy and Wells, and how their relationship played out.

Ivy was such a strong FMC. Her life is turned upside down when she finds out, that in order to get her inheritance, she needs to be married... within the next three months... Enter Wells. A chance encounter and conversation that leads to two people realizing just how much they could help each other.

While adjusting to her new married life, Ivy learns new things about Wells, his friends, and even her family. But again, her life is turned upside down when she learns that people are not only after Wells, but her too.

The action and plot in this story had me hooked from cover to cover. I loved getting to know each character, and trying to piece everything together.

The audio was amazing. The duet narration by Mollie Stark and Sean Masters was easy to listen to, and they each did such a great job bringing Ivy and Wells to life. The emotion portrayed was great, and it kept me engaged and wanting more.

Thank you to Valentine PR for the opportunity to listed to this Duet!
