Review: Blood Lies

Blood Lies Blood Lies by R.L. Caulder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

R.L. Caulder is QUEEN. Every single book written is a 10/10, this one is no different. Blood Oath is, and has been, my favorite series written by her, so imagine my excitement finding out we get a book on their daughter?! Not only that, but this as a stand alone is *chefs kiss*. Briar is just as strong as her mama. I loved the mother daughter dynamic is this. It pulled at my mama heart so much. The best part, you ask? Her THREE badie boiis. I want to say that I hated them, but I really can't. R.L. did such a great job with writing them, that even everything that happened and what they did/didn't do, I found it so hard to hate them.

If I had one magical wish, I would wish to live in a R.L. Caulder book. One with a happy ending, of course.
