In a world in which dreams are guarded and nightmares are unsanctioned, one woman's unraveling mind may hold the key to everything the empire fears.

Review: Woman Down

Woman Down Woman Down by Colleen Hoover
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Surprisingly enjoyable read. It honestly felt like I was reading Colleen Hoovers diary for the first few chapters, and then maybe a bit at the end too lol. Only because of the recent movie adaptation backlash and how that is mirrored in this book. As someone who has read *almost* all her books, I will say they are enjoyable, emotional, and fun reads, and this is no different. It does include romance, but I would say this falls more into the thriller genre. It was giving Too Late vibes.

Over all the story was addictive and really had me on the edge of my seat. The ending was predictable to me, however, the last line I truly did not expect.

I was also shocked to find out through other reviews that this was originally a short story written in 2020. I tried to find that story to read online so I could compare, but I could only find resells of physical copies (for way too much money).
